Critical Commentary

This is an image of Winston Churchill from a clipping of a Danish newspaper from 1950. It appears in Christopher Gad's "A Post-plural Attitude" in NatureCulture as an illustration of "the autonomous, constant, modern Cartesian subject and romantic ideas about inner 'depths' and 'layers'." (2013, 69).
