Critical Commentary
Max Etka is a junior undergraduate majoring in Integrated Science and Technology (ISAT) at James Madison University (JMU) where he is hoping to concentrate in Energy. Max is entering his second semester as a member of the Science, Technology, and Society Futures Lab and is excited to continue being a part of such a unique experience during his college career. He is interested in researching Critical and Reflexive Perspectives of Conferencing as a Scientific Practice.
He is serving as a fellow for the NSF STS as a Critical Pedagogy Workshop, hosted in Summer 2021 as a member of the STS in STEM panel.
