Critical Commentary

This episode of AnthroPod is based on a session at the American Anthropological Association's annual meeting, held in Chicago in November 2013. Featuring interviews with the five panelists—three from Japan—, who engage Mei Zhan's notion of "worlding" at the crossroads of STS and anthropology. The five panelists consider how the concept of "worlding"—that is, how bodies are not simply objects that exist within the world, but agents that operate to partially make it—can help reveal new details about their diverse fields of research.
