Sketch D: Querying Job Markets, Transnationally

This sketch prompts you to take a transnational analytic gaze at job markets. The sketch, created by Misria Ali in collaboration with 6S reps, is used here with permission for use as part of theĀ 6S 2021 workshop.

Description:

How can one start thinking about expanding their scholarship rhizomatically given the politics, the constraints and new directions such a move entails? This sketch will discuss the politics of employment and hopping between different geographies in higher education from a transnational perspective. This sketch will provide a comparative perspective on job application packages in different geographical locations where STS scholarship is practised in one form or the other.
