Linda Huber collaboration bio

Text

My name is Linda Huber, and I am a PhD student at the University of Michigan School of Information. I am currently working on a research project about online therapy gig workers (e.g. for websites like Talkspace and Betterhelp), and how working as platform-based gig workers impacts the daily work and professional identities of therapists. Previously I was working as a UX research consultant for tech companies - it is possible that my UX design or research skills may be relevant to some?

I am interested in participating in 4S as a first year PhD student learning more about infrastructure/platform studies in particular. I also think STS perspectives are particularly relevant to my current research as it touches on the domain of mental health infrastructures and practices.
